Worship in Pink Weekend 2012:
October 19th - October 21st

Worship in Pink Weekend is a great opportunity for Atlanta's churches, mosques, and synagogues to spread the life-saving message of early detection and honor their communities' survivors.

In 2011, Komen Atlanta reached a record number of 205 organizations and 65,000 people. Help us reach our 2012 goal of reaching 250 organizations and 75,000 individuals! Registration begins in July. Komen Atlanta provides religious organizations with a planning kit as well as FREE packets of breast health information for the congregations. Organizations are encouraged to make the day or weekend a celebration of survivors and co-survivors. Some organizations host a special luncheon for survivors, encourage the congregation to wear pink or invite survivors to speak about their experiences.
