Komen Atlanta is a volunteer driven organization. With more than 500 dedicated and passionate volunteers,
Komen Atlanta is able to produce annual events, educate the public and fulfill our mission to save lives
and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science
to find the cures.
Representing Komen at local health fairs, delivering the message of early detection and breast health through
our speaker's bureau, Komen Atlanta volunteers help us engage the community and move us forward to a cure.
Komen Atlanta volunteers are held in the highest regard, because their crucial work and passion are what
makes our work possible.
Komen Atlanta produces a quarterly volunteer newsletter. The newsletter contains information about the local
breast cancer community, events happening in the area and the latest information about breast cancer research.
