T2Tennis
T2Tennis Tennis for the Cure has helped increase awareness of breast cancer in the metro Atlanta
community, while also raising more than $150,000 for Komen Atlanta to help fund local breast cancer
screening, treatment and education programs.
The partnership with T2Tennis began in 2004 and has been a tremendous success. In 2006, T2Tennis
expanded the Tennis for the Cure program, and launched a mixed doubles league to benefit Komen
Atlanta. All registration fees from the league benefited the organization, raising more than
$40,000 in the inaugural season.
T2Tennis participants take advantage of the flexible T2Tennis scheduling format, and play a
five match schedule over six weeks, with other players at the same level and near their neighborhood
courts. Tennis for the Cure players receive special tennis ball car magnets, thanks to Prince
Tennis as a contributing sponsor.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS PARTNERSHIP SUCCESSFUL!
Volunteers are needed to help make the Komen and T2Tennis partnership a BIG success.
We need people to spread the word about the T2Tennis league in their neighborhoods. Thank you for your help!
