Survivor

Since launching the breast cancer movement 25 years ago, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has transformed the culture - how the world talks about and treats this devastating disease and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.

America's 2.3 million breast cancer survivors, now the largest group of cancer survivors in the U.S., are a living testament to the power of society and science to save lives.

As a survivor, we hope that you'll be reminded how many friends are running beside you every step of the way in this race for the cure. Despite the tremendous advances in the medical and scientific fields, sometimes the best therapy is the knowledge that we are not alone in this fight - together we can make a difference.

Share your own survival story, view the survivor resources and check out the survivor events. Through the exchange of experience, knowledge and hope, our wish is that you will continue to believe that the finish line in this race is near.
