Grant RFP and Application
Community Grants Program
The Greater Atlanta Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure offers grants for innovative, non-duplicative projects in the areas of breast health and breast cancer education, navigation, support, screening and diagnostic services. Project should target services, not otherwise available, to the medically underserved populations of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and/or Rockdale counties. Community Grants are available for one year.
The application cycle for the 2010 - 2011 Community Grant Program is currently closed. Funding announcements will be made by April 2, 2010. The 2009 Community Profile Report was conducted to find the needs and gaps in breast health services in the 10-county service area of the Greater Atlanta Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It also serves as a guide for grantmaking and fundraising efforts, so as to not duplicate programs already in place and focus efforts on addressing unmet needs for breast health in the community.
