GrantsGrant RFP and ApplicationKomen Atlanta is proud to announce the availability of community grant funds for Fiscal Year 2013. We are currently seeking to fund innovative, non-duplicative projects in the areas of breast health and breast cancer education, navigation, support, screening and diagnostic services not otherwise available to the medically underserved population of our ten county service area: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale.

Komen Atlanta will host two grant-writing workshops. All applicants that are not current Komen Atlanta grantees MUST attend a workshop. Current Komen grantees are STRONGLY recommended to attend. Grant-Writing Workshop 1: September 15, 2011 at 6:00pm (Northside Hospital) Grant-Writing Workshop 2: October 14, 2011 at 2:00pm (Fulton County Health and Wellness) Please RSVP to emarchiolo@komenatlanta.org. Community Needs and Funding PrioritiesThe Affiliate establishes its funding priorities by conducting a community needs assessment and publishing a Community Profile report every two years. The 2011 Community Profile Report was conducted to find the needs and gaps in breast health services in the 10-county service area of Komen Atlanta. It also serves as a guide for grantmaking and fundraising efforts, so as to not duplicate programs already in place and focus efforts on addressing unmet needs for breast health in the community.
