Komen Atlanta is proud to be funding 38 projects for the period from April 1, 2008 - March 31, 2009. In 2008, $2.25 million was awarded to these 38 projects. Projects were selected by our independent review
panel as those that will have the greatest impact on the Atlanta community in the areas of breast health
education, screening, treatment and support. Since 1991, Komen Atlanta has invested more than $19 million
in the Atlanta community through funding of breast cancer education, screening, treatment and support
