The Call for the Cure Radiothon

Thank you to our 2008 Call for the Cure sponsors and donors, and to B98.5FM and the Steve and Vikki Morning Show for making the Call for the Cure a success! Together we raised $470,000 for breast cancer education, screening, treatment and research!

The Greater Atlanta Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will hold a new fall fundraiser, The Call for the Cure Radiothon on B98.5FM. The event will kick off with the Steve and Vikki Morning Show encouraging listeners to pledge their support in the fight against breast cancer. The Call for the Cure will continue throughout the day, raising funds for Atlanta's medically underserved community and spreading the life-saving message of early detection. The Call for the Cure is a great opportunity for Komen Atlanta and its sponsors to reach a wide audience with vital breast health information. The radiothon also provides a chance for the Atlanta community to share in Komen's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by pledging their support to the breast cancer movement during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Call for the Cure is produced by B98.5FM and the Greater Atlanta Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with the support of Kroger as a presenting sponsor.
